This piece is our line quality drawing where we had to focus on using all of the four different types of lines -thick, thin, dark, light- in this drawing of two vases, rope, a baseball, and flowers. In this drawing, I used dark lines to create and show the shadow on the sides of the larger and vase. In the center of each vase, I used light lines and left parts white to show the highlighted areas of them -where the light hits each of the vases. This art piece was inspired by Leonardo de Vinci´s four types of lines. My goal of this drawing was to show composition using different line values. Overall I think I could have blended everything together better and I should have used more values on this drawing.
